The Tomas-Stein inequality is a fundamental inequality in harmonic analysis. We are concerned with the maximizers problem for this inequality:(1). Whether does the maximizers exist for this inequality? (2). If it exists, how to characterize the maximizers? (3). What are the maximizers and whether they are unique? Joint with Ming Wang, we prove maximizers exist for this inequality conditional on the Gaussians maximizer the Strichartz inequality for the Schr\”odinger equation.
报告人简介:
邵双林,堪萨斯大学副教授。本硕毕业于北京师范大学,2008年获得加州大学洛杉矶分校博土学位,导师为Fields 奖获得者T.Tao教授,博士后就职于普林斯顿数学高等研究所和美国国家数学及其应用研究所。研究方向为调和分析和偏微分方程,主要关注调和分析在薛定谔方程中的应用。近年来,在AdvMath、JDE、JFA等高水平期刊发表科研论文近20篇,完成美国国家科学基金(NSF)等多项科研项目。
